Born from a perfect combination of core competencies in agriculture and an innate desire to help people and animals, Colorado Hemp Solutions was founded by a farming and ranching entrepreneur in 2016. Industrial hemp, grown specifically for cannabinoid extraction, was brought into Western Colorado in 2016 on a very small scale.
Collaboration
Founder Wacey Clarke saw the tide coming in due to the undeniable value of the industrial hemp plant. Fate was on his side in the winter of 2016. Tanner Willis, a forward-thinking veteran of the cannabis industry, collaborated with Wacey to form an industrial hemp operation.

Immediately, the infancy of the industry and what it lacked spurred CHS into becoming a self-sufficient and cutting-edge leader in our exciting new industry. During the formation of CHS, there have been countless contributors and supporters along the way that continues to challenge and enrich the CHS operation.
Not all hemp plants are created equal. At CHS, we have painstakingly built our genetic program and its goals towards making the most robust cannabinoid producing female hemp plants possible.
