colorado hemp solutions faq
CHS is a totally accountable full service phytocannabinoid producer, which means we control every input into our products. This begins in our seed propagation and cloning facilities. It continues to our hardening greenhouses, then into the pre-amended and naturally rich Western Colorado soils.
Harvesting
The process continues into our secure and environmentally controlled drying areas where we hand shuck our hemp into proper storage and transport sacks. Our harvest is delivered to the professional extraction and distillation partners of our choice. By maintaining control from start to finish, we are able to ensure that our products are of the highest quality and deserving of our customers' trust.
Why Do We Not Offer PayPal?
You may notice that we no longer offer PayPal as a payment option. Until PayPal updates its policies to include working with businesses selling hemp derived products, we cannot utilize their services. But given the opportunity, we will add it back as an option as soon as it is available to us.
CBD is short for cannabidiol, one of at least 113 different cannabinoids found within the cannabis plant. It is a major cannabinoid in the industrial hemp cultivars that Colorado Hemp Solutions grows. CBD is an amazing chemical compound that can do amazing things – but its true power is only capitalized when in combination with other synergistic cannabinoids and terpenoids – thus the entourage effect.
Industrial hemp is cannabis that tests under .3% THC dry weight. Our partners at the Colorado Department of Agriculture tests our fields prior to harvest to ensure that the crop can be legally sold. Once the field is tested, the oils and concentrates from those fields are legal to sell.
Regulations
However, any end products for consumption, or otherwise used, must be under .3% THC. This is why full-spectrum distillates and crude oils will have more than .3% THC – because they will be diluted down in a delivery method for which the final product is less than .3% THC (edible, topical, tincture, vape juice, etc.).
Colorado Hemp Solutions does not use pesticides, GMOs, or herbicides in our operation. We cannot use the term organic because our fields and facilities are not certified organic. We use holistic and organic based principles in our husbandry with sustainability at the tip of the spear.
All of our products are third-party lab tested. Aurum labs in Durango, CO does the majority of our testing through the METRC program, which is the only state certification for labs currently in Colorado for industrial hemp.
The FDA does not allow us to give specific dosage information. However, we can say that there are a wealth of incredible medical studies that have been done on the subject. A good rule of thumb is to start slow and increase dosage as needed. A typical daily dosage of 25-50mg of phytonutrients is common when polling natural practitioners. Heavier dosages are used for chronic and acute treatments with dosages of 1500 mg / day used in some research applications.
We are not responsible for our customers failing a drug test from products that contain less than .3 % THC. We can say it would be very rare and we have customers in the oil field, public service, etc. that have been drug tested while using hemp derived products. If you are incredibly risk averse please use the topical products, as the risk of failing a drug test for topical products is minuscule.
We make every effort to ship the order the next business day from receiving the order. We guarantee all items will ship within 5 business days from the order being processed.
Due to the nature of our products and batch controls we do not accept returns. If you are unhappy with your experience please let us know and we will do whatever we can to make it right.
